The SOB Deep Concealed holster has quickly become a favorite for carrying the Glock 43. As with other carry guns, I have a plethora of holsters I have purchased over many years for comfortable, practical carry. Most of my choices are made of kydex, but the minimalist shape of this holster makes it stand out. This holster is sturdy and well constructed of quality materials. The trigger guard is completely enclosed, and the dual vertical screw system for the belt clip is solidly attached and maintains the pistol securely in place.
The edge I would give to this holster is the extended hump on the kydex where the belt clip is anchored, and present on both sides of the holster for ambidextrous carry. The humps’ placement, low on the holster body, provides a bit of a wedge on the lower part of the holster to slightly leverage the pistol grip, just above the waistband/belt pushing the pistol grip closer to the body. This aids in a reduction of “printing” your carry piece through clothing. While many other holsters have wedges to perform the same function, they are frequently attached to the holster as a “wing,” and tend to make the holster less comfortable. The minimal size of the holster and overall slightly more rounded profile, make it a winner comfort wise, especially at the 3 to 4 o’clock carry position. I highly recommend this holster for comfortable secure carry all day. It’s is definitely one of my favorite holsters for concealed carry in over 40 years of carrying a sidearm on a daily basis.
